David Lynch returns to the new "Twin Peaks"
It´s a good day for "Twin Peaks" fans. After David Lynch decided to pull out of the series revival a month ago due to budget reasons, the director and Showtime seem to have agreed on the terms of their negotiations.
Not only the acclaimed director and creator of the show is on board with the project again, but the episode count has expanded considerably.
Lynch confirmed the news via Twitter:
"Dear Twitter Friends, the rumors are not what they seem ..... It is !!!
Happening again. #TwinPeaks returns on @SHO_Network"
On the other hand, David Nevins, president of Showtime Networks, released the following statement:
"This damn fine cup of coffee from Mark and David tastes more delicious than ever. Totally worth the extra brewing time and the cup is even bigger than we expected … Pre production starts now!! David will direct the whole thing which will total more than the originally announced nine hours.”
Are you guys excited?
