First Look at "The Hobbit"

  Peter Jackson is doing a good job at teasing impatient fans before his new film, The Hobbit, an adaptation of J. R. R. Tolkien´s novel hits theaters on 2012.

 3 new pictures from the set have been released (courtesy of EW) featuring Martin Freeman as Bilbo, Ian Mckellan reprising his role as Gandalf and both Freeman and Jackson himself between takes.

'Hobbit' Recruits Mckellen, Wood and Serkins

 Sir Ian Mckellen, Elijah Wood and Andy Serkins have all been confirmed to reprise their Lord of the Rings roles in the forthcoming big screen adaptation of The Hobbit.

 According to The Hollywood Reporter and Deadline, the actors have finally agreed to return and join Peter Jackson´s in the new movie based on  J.R.R. Tolkien´s original novel.

 They are not the only familiar faces we will see on the sequel, as a number of veteran castmembers including Orlando Bloom and Cate Blanchett are all set to return as well. The Hobbit will begin filming in New Zealand on February 14, with release dates set for December 2012 and December 2013.
