First Listen: "No sleeep" - Janet Jackson

Janet Jackson is back with a brand new slow jam titled "No Sleeep"

The Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis-produced track surfaced online and it picks up right off where Miss Jackson left.

The singer delivers a soft mid-tempo song with her signature vocal style that will surely give fans a much needed dose of new music after many years of absence.

Even though the song is quite good, we´re personally still waiting for the hot uptempo smash track that Janet does so well. However, this is a nice gift to listen to in the meantime.

Check it out above! Thoughts?

Janet Jackson announces new album and tour

After months of rumors swirling around, Janet Jackson has officially announced her awaited comeback to music.

The singer posted the following video on friday, a day before her 49th birthday:

"I promised you’d hear it from my lips and now you will. This year, new music, new world tour, a new movement. I’ve been listening. Let’s keep the conversation going," Jackson says in the announcement video.

No word yet on an album title or release date but Janet has recently been using the #ConversationsinaCafe hashtag. Could this be a hint?

Truth is the singer hasn´t released new music since 2008´s Discipline, so her fans have been waiting for a long time for this new studio album.

Are you happy to have Miss Jackson back?
