First Listen: Till The World Ends - Britney Spears

 Britney Spears second single from her forthcoming album Femme Fatale has leaked early! Till The World Ends was written by fellow pop star Ke$ha and produced by Max Martin & Dr Luke.

 In my humble opinion it sounds even better than Britney´s first single, Hold It Against Me. It seems that the pop princess has got another infectious big hit on her hands!

New "Scream 4" Stills

 With the premiere of Scream 4 almost around the corner, Dimension Films has unveiled a new set of stills from one of the most anticipated sequels of the year.

 In these pictures we can see a shot of veterans Neve Campbell and Courteney Cox alongside newcomers Erik Knudsen and Rory Culkin.

 Also featured in the pictures are Emma Roberts (who plays Sydney´s cousin), Hayden Panettierre, and Alison Brie.

Diane Lane Joins New Superman Movie

 Warner Bros Pictures has announced that Academy Award nominated actress Diane Lane has joined the cast of the upcoming Superman movie as Martha Kent, the mother of the superhero on Earth.

 The official press release reads as follows:

 Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures announced today that Oscar®-nominated actress Diane Lane will play Martha Kent, the only mother Clark Kent has ever known, in the new Superman movie to be directed by Zack Snyder. Snyder stated, “This was a very important piece of casting for me because Martha Kent is the woman whose values helped shape the man we know as Superman. We are thrilled to have Diane in the role because she can convey the wisdom and the wonder of a woman whose son has powers beyond her imagination.” Lane will star with Henry Cavill, who was recently announced as the new Clark Kent/Superman.

 Lane earned an Academy Award® nomination for her performance in the 2002 drama “Unfaithful.” She most recently starred in the family hit “Secretariat.” She next stars in the HBO feature “Cinema Verite,” opposite Tim Robbins and James Gandolfini. Lane’s long list of film credits also includes “Nights in Rodanthe,” “Hollywoodland,” “Must Love Dogs,” “Under the Tuscan Sun,” “Perfect Storm,” “My Dog Skip,” “Chaplin,” “The Cotton Club” and “A Little Romance,” to name only a portion.

 Charles Roven, Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Deborah Snyder are the producers of the film. The screenplay is being written by David S. Goyer based on a story by Goyer and Nolan. Thomas Tull and Lloyd Phillips are serving as executive producers. Slated for release in December 2012, the new Superman movie will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

Grey´s Anatomy Prepares Musical Episode

 This season Grey´s Anatomy is going to feature its most risky move to date: a musical episode! This could either be the best thing that could happen to the show or it could end in absolute disaster. 

 We already know that Sara Ramirez is an experienced trained singer so there is still hope that it won´t completely suck. Let´s  hope that Shonda Rhimes knows what she is doing.

Spice Girls Divided Over Unreleased Music

 According to The Mirror, the Spice Girls are divided over the idea of releasing a collection of unreleased tracks for their fans to listen to.

 The tabloid reports that there are around 60 unreleased songs available to choose from but, while Mel B and Mel C are enthusiastic about the idea, the three remaining members of the band (Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham) are against it.

 A source close to the british band has stated:

 "From a possible 60 tracks, three or four would be gua­ranteed No1s and there's definitely a solid album's worth from the songs. Although such a release would generate millions, it's not about the money. Both Melanies want to open up the band to a new generation of fans and keep the memory of the Spice Girls alive. They also believe it's sound commercial sense to keep options open for new work down the line."

 Apparently, Victoria´s successful career in fashion is one of the reasons she won´t get behind the idea:

 "But Victoria has a hugely successful career as a designer and is pregnant. She'd rather distance herself from the group to concentrate on that. She's not keen to revisit the Spice Girls days. Also, if Simon Fuller doesn't feel the timing is right, Emma and Geri don't want to go against him. But it is safe to say this divide is causing friction within the group."

 No word yet on what will happen with the songs, but there is still a project in common that all five girls have backed up; the musical Viva Forever featuring all their hit songs.

Renee Zellweger Set To Do 'Bridget Jones 3'

 According to The Sun, actress Renee Zellweger has agreed to do a third Bridget Jones film, just as long as she does not have to put on any weight to play the title character.

 Apparently the opening scene of the movie would show Jones stepping on to some scales and showing all the weight loss.

 Sources close to Zellweger have claimed that "Renee had no reservations about saying yes once she found out she wouldn't have to get fat. She hated having to do that in the last two films."

 On the other hand Colin Firth, who recently won an Oscar for his performance on The King´s Speech and played Bridget´s love interest in the two films, has expressed his willingness to return to the role for the potential sequel as well.

Marg Helgenberger To Do Only A Few Episodes Of "CSI" Next Season

 It is no secret that Marg Helgenberger who plays Catherine Willows on CSI was looking forward to leaving the show and moving on to something else. However, fans of the crime series can rejoice as she is still willing to return in some capacity for the 2011/2012 season.

 The actress, who was been on the show for 11 years since its premiere in 2000, has told People: “We’re talking maybe [only] doing a few episodes. The older you get, the more comfortable you become with who you are and who you are continuing to become. I’m looking forward to the next chapter.”

 And what would that next chapter be? Apparently Helgenberger is interested in returning to theater. Her deal with the show has yet to be finalized so it is still unclear the number of episodes she´ll be in next season.
