"Les Miserables" New Trailer

 Tom Hooper´s adaptation of the stage musical Les Miserables has revealed a brand new trailer and it looks spectacular.

  If we take into account that the whole cast (which includes Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried and Hugh Jackman) sang live during the filming of the movie, it brings so much more rawness and makes it that more special if possible.

 We cannot help but think that Les Miserables will be nominated for many awards next year.

"Les Miserables" Teaser Trailer

 Universal has released the first teaser trailer for the film adaptation of the successful stage musical Les Miserables.

 Starring Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, Amanda Seyfried, Russel Crowe, Helena Bonham Carter and directed by Tom Hooper (The King´s Speech), the film looks pretty good.

 The trailer mostly features some spectacular visuals while we listen to Anne Hathaway´s beautiful rendition of the popular song, I Dreamed a Dream.

Watch 'In Time' Trailer

  The first trailer for Andrew Niccol's sci-fi action-thriller, In Time, starring Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried has been unveiled.

 The film tells the story of a future where people stop aging at 25 and must work in order to buy themselves more time. When a young man (Timberlake) finds himself with more time than he could imagine, he must run from the corrupt police in order to save his life.

Diane Keaton and De Niro Star In New Comedy

  Robert De Niro and Diane Keaton will star together on a new comedy called Gently Down the Stream. 

The pair will play a divorced couple who will pretend they are still married just for the sake of their adopted son´s wedding and his biological mother.

 Also starring alongside the iconic pair will be Katherine Heigl and Amanda Seyfried, with Justin Zackhman writing and directing the film.

 This is not the first time Keaton and De Niro have shared screen time together as both have actors starred alongside each other on The Godfather 2 and Marvin´s Room.

Amanda Seyfried Returns for "Big Love" Series Finale

 It is no secret that Amanda Seyfried has become a household name in Hollywood. Since starring along Meryl Streep on Mamma Mia, her career has sky rocketed and she has been working non stop in movies like Dear John, Chloe, Letters to Juliet or the upcoming Red Riding Hood.

 With so many big screen projects and having little time to concentrate on anything else, Seyfried decided to leave her HBO's TV show Big Love at the end of last season along with her co-star Aaron Paul. However, after HBO announced that the series was coming to an end in 2011, both Seyfried and Paul decided to come back and give the show the farewell it deserved.

The finale was shot in mid-December but it won't air until March. Co-creator Will Scheffer described the experience to TV Guide stating that "both Amanda and Paul really wanted to be a part of the last episode, even though they were both shooting movies, it was special. Literally and figuratively it was a family getting back together."

First Watch: Red Riding Hood Trailer

 It seems as if the classical story Red Riding Hood is no longer suitable for children, at least according to the trailer that has surfaced from the upcoming film adaptation starring Amanda Seyfried. Directed by Catherine Hardwicke of “Twilight” fame, the movie tells the story of a village which is terrorised by a werewolf.

 Seems like no brothers Grimm tale is safe from a more adult oriented adaptation these days. I really love that Amanda Seyfried stars as the main lead character, and the rest of the cast is amazing (Gary Oldman, Virginia Madsen) but I'm still not sure that the choice of having Hardwicke as the director will benefit the film. Taking into account the disastrous job she did with Twilight, one cannot help but wonder if this will be same kind of movie that only teenagers will be able to enjoy, only with werewolfs instead of vampires.

Rumour: Dicaprio, Maguire and Seyfriend to star in "The Great Gatsby"

  According to reports, the new film adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s beloved classic, "The Great Gatsby" is on the works and, if the rumours are true, this could turn up to be a terrific project. Apparently,  Leonardo DiCaprio is up for the role of Jay Gatsby, Tobey Maguire for Nick Carraway, and Amanda Seyfried for Daisy Buchanan. A few years back, director Baz Luhrmann (Moulin Rouge) had acquired the rights to the novel, but there is no word yet if he will be sitting on the director's chair and helming the movie.

  I hope that the rumours are true cause this would be a star-studded cast. After reading the novel, I could definitely see those three actors playing the roles perfectly. Seyfried has the perfect combination of beauty and apparent vulnerability that the character of Daisy needs, while Maguire and Dicaprio would be perfect fits for the roles of envious Nick and pretentious Gatsby. I also look forward to seeing Luhrmann's vision of the story (if he's still attached to the film) as his unique style will surely provide a touch of modernity to it.
