First Listen: Loving You - Matt Cardle & Melanie C

It´s always a pleasant surprise when a song exceeds all your expectations and brings that old school flavour of the good old days in music.

That is exactly what happens when you put together X Factor winner, Matt Cardle and former Spice Girl, Melanie C.

"Loving You" sees these two singers blend their voices together perfectly and the result is definitely good.

Cardle has expressed excitement for the release of this new single: "I met Melanie at the Isle of Wight Festival last year," Cardle said.

"I'm a big fan and I've always loved her voice. I had already started writing 'Loving You' and I thought with a few changes it could work perfectly as a duet. I'm really thrilled with the song and I can't wait for people to hear it."

No need to wait any longer! You can listen to the final result by clicking on the lyric video above!

Tune of the Week: Burn - Melanie C

Melanie C has just released her new studio album, The Sea, so it was only logical that our new Tune of the Week was a track taken from her upcoming record.

Having had the chance to listen to the whole album we must say that the former Spice Girl has returned to full form, presenting a collection of songs that are both mature and radio friendly.

Burn is one of our favourite tracks from The Sea, as it speaks about the difficulty of letting go of a broken relationship.

The lyrics are powerful, her voice sounds great and this song has definitely single potential.

Emma Bunton Introduces Son Tate Lee

Former Spice Girl, Emma Bunton, delivered her second son Tate Lee on May 6 and has introduced him to the world on the latest issue of Hello! magazine.

Emma also spoke about the special relationship she has with the other members of the Spice Girls and how they are all still close:

“After I gave birth to Tate, the first bouquets through the door were from Victoria, Geri and Mel (Chisholm). They came with little notes and that is always special to me, to get those from the girls. We always make time for each other. Mel C. came to visit me in hospital and she got quite emotional — we do get very emotional for each other ”

Not only that, but Bunton also reveals how their children have also developed a special bond:

"It was lovely because Beau (Bunton´s eldest son with fiancé Jade Jones] was there playing with Mel´s little girl Scarlet,” Bunton adds. ”Now our kids are friends too and as they grow, it will be wonderful to watch them all and the different stages in their lives. ”

Emma still hasn´t met Victoria Beckham´s new baby girl, Harper Seven, but she´s confident it will happen in the near future:

“As soon as we can possibly meet up, we will — that’s how it’s always been. But for the moment we’re making do with emails. The fact our new babies are so close in age means we have lots to talk about. We’ve been swapping bits of advice and photos and sharing our excitement.”

Mel C: 'I´m Recording Big Dance Hits'

Melanie C is in the process of recording new material for her next album and she has been bitten by the dance bug. The Spice Girl is collaborating with drag queen and London DJ Jodie Harsh on a number of dance tracks in the vein of her 2000 hit I Turn To You.

The singer told Dean Piper: "We're in the studio working now. Tomorrow, in fact. There's a lots of writing and studio time booked in and the results are very exciting. Jodie's got a good grasp of what I want to do and we're hoping to return to the 'I Turn To You' days with some big dance hits."

Harsh, who has previously worked with artists such as Sophie Ellis-Bextor, added: "I've been a fan of Melanie for years so it's a pleasure to be working with her. We're both extremely focused on things right now. So although we may be at a party together, we're going home early and will be up at the crack of dawn."

Are you happy that Melanie C has decided to return to her dance roots?
