This song is just so incredible that it really feels as if we had time travelled to the years of the Motown era. The track, written by Bruno Mars, is rapidly making its way to the top of the charts in spite of its controversial lyrics. In order for the song to be radio friendly, the record label decided to release a new version called "Forget You" .
The Gnarls Barkley frontman wasn't too happy about the change but understood that it was needed in order to reach more audiences. "Well, [the song] was doing really well but not on the radio. You want all the statistics to be in your favour. I wanted a version that adolescents and maybe older people could listen to. He explains: But for adults, there's the original version for you."
