"The Walking Dead" Spin-off title is announced




For some time it has been announced that AMC will air a spin-off series for The Walking Dead and now thanks to creator Robert Kirkman we have a confirmed title. Kirkman announced on Twitter that the show will be called Fear the Walking Dead and it is set for a summer debut. Kirkman tweet reads as follows:

"IT'S OFFICIAL! The walking dead companion show on AMC is called FEAR THE WALKING DEAD! Expect more news very soon! #FearTheWalkingDead "


The series will consist of a first season of six episodes and a second season already scheduled for 2016. Little details are known at this time about the show other than it will take place in Los Angeles and stars Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane, and Alycia Debnam.

"The Walking Dead" Season 3 Comic-Con Trailer




 The Walking Dead´s panel at San Diego´s Comic-Con convention was fully packed and one of the stellar moments of the evening was when a brand new trailer for the upcoming third season of the series was shown.

 As fans of the comic book already know, this year the prison will serve as the main setting for most of the characters on the show.

"The Walking Dead" debuts to huge ratings



  The anticipation for this new TV series was huge and, as expected, the ratings have been stellar. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the pilot episode for "The Walking Dead" aired in the US on Halloween attracted 5.3 million viewers making it the show the most watched programme in the channel's history. Not only that but it is also the largest audience of any cable network debut this year.

  Looks like the network has got a hit on their hands! Did you watch?
