Adele has had one of the biggest records of the year and she has recently revealed that she has already began working on the follow up to her smash hit album, 21.
The singer told The Sun: "I have five tracks ready to go. One of them is quite upbeat - a real 'girl power' type of song."
The hitmaker also revealed that she´s planning to record a cover of INXS along with some new material:
"I plan to do a cover of the INXS hit 'Never Tear Us Apart' which is probably my fave song of all time. The whole album will have quite a live feel to it."
Michelle Branch is back with her new single, Loud Music, a song that marks her return to a more pop oriented sound.
The track is written and produced with Julian Emery and James Irvin and will be included in Michelle´s third studio album which will be released this coming fall.
Sarah Michelle Gellar is returning to TV after a long break with Ringer, a new CW drama full of mistery and deceit.
The CW has finally released an extended trailer for the upcoming show and it really looks different than any of the other series that the network has aired before.
It was just a matter of time before someone claimed that Beyoncé´s astonishing performance at the Billboard Awards was copied from someone else.
Lets face it, Beyoncé isn´t exactly the most original artist out there, (just check out Youtube and you´ll find out how many times other artists have "inspired" her in the past) but we must admit she gave one hell of a performance on Sunday night when she sang and danced to her new single Run The World (Girls).
However, now there is some proof to the fact she wasn´t as innovative as we thought because it has come to everyone´s attention how Italian pop star Lorella Cuccarini put on an extremely similar performance last year.
Beyoncé even starts the song with enveloped wings, which is the same image that appears at the end of Cuccarini´s show!

What do you think?
Should Beyoncé be praised or criticized for her performance?
OMG! A new video featuring pop legend Michael Jackson and Barry Gibb recording an unreleased song inside a studio in 2002 has appeared online.
Apparently the video was filmed inside Middle Ear Studios in December 2002 and around 2 hours of footage were recorded!
For now we´ll just have to do with the 34 seconds available of them recording the song All In Your Name which will absolutely blow your mind!
We all know Michael was a once in a lifetime kind of artist and there is nothing more interesting than watching such an icon in the middle of his creative process.
Extra has premiered an exclusive sneak peek at the new season of True Blood and by the looks of this new footage this year the show looks as promising as ever!

Born This Way was defined by Lady Gaga as "the album of the decade" way before its release. Revolutionary, groundbreaking, or phenomenal were some of the adjectives used to refer to the new music of an artist who´s been know to have her share of controversy.
So, is Gaga´s new album as epic as they made us believe? It´s not. Will it make an impact on the music industry as we know it? It won´t. Is it an album worth of our attention? Yes it is.
Hype is a very bad word. If this album was released today without all of the high expectations surrounding it, we would have probably payed more attention to the music because... lets not forget it. It´s not about the bizarre dresses or controversial videos... it´s really about the music.
Here is our track by track overview of the album:
Marry The Night: This song contains rock and pop elements from the 80´s with a powerful chorus. However it´s the dance section in the end what really makes it stand out. 7/10
Born This Way: The first single off the album was labeled by many as a Madonna´s Express Yourself ripoff. It is enjoyable but no as groundbreaking as it was conceived to be. 6/10
Government Hooker: This post-disco inspired track reveals one of the biggest retro moments of the record. The song is so good it just speaks for itself. 8.5/10
Judas: The second single feels sometimes messy with Gaga´s voice lost among synthesizers and digital effects. The melody is somehow reminiscent of Gaga´s old hit, Bad Romance. 6.5/10
Americano: Spanish is Stefani Germanotta´s failed subject. The song is almost a self-parody of what it is supposed to be. 3/10
Hair: An infectious chorus that unfortunately gets lost along the way of an overproduced track. All in all the drums and the saxophone riffs provide some authenticity to the song. 6.5/10
Scheiße: The real dance anthem of the album and our personal favourite. This commanding pop song is definitely single material. 9/10
Bloody Mary: The religious theme appears once again but this time the mood is quite different. Overall a decent track. 6/10
Bad Kids: A homage to teenage rebellion and adolescence. The rock intro paves the way for a more disco pop oriented sound and chorus. 7/10
Highway Unicorn (Road To Love): The melody in the beginning shares similarities with the chorus of her hit Poker Face. Not exactly our cup of tea. 4/10
Heavy Metal Lover: The song shares the exact same rhythm pattern of Born This Way only slower. Unoriginal, predictible and boring. 3/10
Electric Chapel: It incorporates 80´s elements with some rock flavour. Nice but not enchanting. 3/10
You and I: A nice change of sound. A Robert “Mutt” Lange-produced love song with some E.L.O. inspired background vocals. 7/10
The Edge Of Glory: The current single and a very good song choice for ending the album. 8/10

There is nothing worse on TV than the feeling when you start losing faith on a show that used to be both intelligent and entertaining. Sadly, this is exactly what has been happening with our feelings towards Glee lately... until Funeral aired this week.
Funeral is everything that Glee needs to be. It was fun, it was special, it developed the storylines forward and it moved us.
What works about this episode that wasn´t working before? It brought back auditions! To see our characters audition to sing lead at Nationals brought us memories of that wonderful Glee pilot. Plus, it got rid of the storylines that were not working (Quinn & Finn finally break up, Schue´s ex-wife leaves for Miami) in order to make room for those that do work (Emma and Will reconnect, Finn wants Rachel back).
The song selection was great, Glee was in serious need of some classic songs after all of the Justin Bieber and Rebecca Black extravaganza lately. This show works better musically when they stop pretending to be trendy and dig into the classics.
Plus, they finally gave Sue Sylvester a much needed three dimensional perspective! We love it when her character shows some humanity, even if she´s still the antagonist of the show. The whole interaction between Sue and Will during the funeral scenes showed why Jane Lynch is deserving of many awards for this role.
To sum up:
The Best: Jane Lynch´s performance during the episode and the good use of character chemistry between Emma & Will, Jesse & Rachel and finally Finn and Rachel.
The Worst: No Blaine in sight.
Quote to Remember: "I do this thing where I sort of alternate which one of those kids I hate the most. Right now it's the dancing Asian." —Sue
Best Musical Number: "Pure Imagination" sang by the Glee Cast at the funeral.
The moment: Jesse kisses Rachel just as Finn watches... holding a rose for her.

On May 25, The Oprah Winfrey Show ends its 25 year run with a star-studded finale that includes A-list celebrities such as Beyoncé, Patti Labelle, Halle Berry, Tom Hanks and Madonna.
The queen of pop decided to surprise the queen of daytime on her last taping in Chicago and had only kind words towards the chat show host:
"It's no secret millions of people are inspired by Oprah. I am one of those people. She's a self made woman who has been at the top of her game for 25 years and she is still kicking a--, encouraging people to dream big, work hard, to read a book, get an education, ask questions - no matter who you are or where you come from. She fights for things she believes in, even if it makes her unpopular. She has balls and a wealth of compassion. I've learned so much from her."

This is seriously one of the new TV series we are most looking forward to this fall!
Awake tells the story of a homicide detective who starts experiencing two alternate realities after suffering a terrible car accident with his wife and teenage son.
It is definitely one of the most original and interesting premises that a TV show has offered in a very long time.
If you are one of our regular followers, you may recall that we mentioned the TV Series Smash back in January. Back then, the show was just an idea in progress but now that NBC has picked it up for their new midseason line up, it is pretty much a reality.
For those of you who don´t remember, Smash is a new TV musical drama produced by Steven Spielberg which centers around the creation of a Broadway musical based on the life of Marilyn Monroe.
It stars singer/actress Katharine McPhee, Debra Messing and Oscar winner Anjelica Huston, and will feature original songs written by Tony and Grammy Award winners Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman (Hairspray).
Even though the show won´t air until midseason, you can now catch several sneak peeks below, including interviews with stars Katharine Mcphee and Debra Messing:
What do you guys think? Will you give Smash a chance when it airs?
A few months ago, we spoke to you about upcoming RnB singer Austin Brown, who just happens to be none other than Michael and Janet Jackson´s nephew.
He´s gearing up to release his upcoming EP next August which will anticipate his debut full length album 85 in which he´s working with people like producer Rodney Jerkins or songwriter Walter Afanasieff.
Click below to watch the teaser trailer for his new music:
Do you believe Austin Brown will be the next successful Jackson in the family?
Lady Gaga is promoting her upcoming album like crazy in the UK and just recently she appeared on The Graham Norton Show where she was interviewed and performed her hit songs Born This Way and Judas.
Gwyneth Paltrow was also a guest on the show the same night, and they both shared some bonding time together during the interview.

Robert De Niro and Diane Keaton will star together on a new comedy called Gently Down the Stream.
The pair will play a divorced couple who will pretend they are still married just for the sake of their adopted son´s wedding and his biological mother.
Also starring alongside the iconic pair will be Katherine Heigl and Amanda Seyfried, with Justin Zackhman writing and directing the film.
This is not the first time Keaton and De Niro have shared screen time together as both have actors starred alongside each other on The Godfather 2 and Marvin´s Room.
Surprisingly Ringer, the new pilot starring Sarah Michelle Gellar and originally filmed for CBS has finally been picked up... by The CW!
According to Deadline, Ringer has found a home on the network co-owned by CBS which marks the first important pick up decision made by brand-new CW president Mark Pedowitz.
The show will mark the return of Gellar to series TV and provides The CW with a major star that has huge following in their targeted 18-34 demographic.
Just days ago, the actress was asked about the Buffy The Vampire Slayer movie project while visiting the Los Angeles Public Library as part of the "Nestle Share the Joy of Reading Program".
You can click on the video below to watch her response:
Are you looking forward to Sarah´s new TV series?
Well, that was quick! According to EW, David E.Kelley´s Wonder Woman won´t be using her powers any time soon as NBC has decided to reject the pilot after it was reportedly received with mixed reviews at early screenings.
It isn´t a secret that the project was getting a lot of criticism everywhere, specially after the first picture of Adrianne Palicki wearing the costume appeared online.
Now it is up to Warner Bros. TV to shop around the pilot elsewhere or shelve it completely.
It is really a shame, we were curious to see what all the buzz was about with this new show.
Do you think NBC made the right move? Would you have given Wonder Woman a chance?
This is definitely a sad day for TV fans as two of the most beloved shows of recent times have failed to make it past their current seasons.
In an unpredictable move that very few saw coming (even though both shows were on the bubble), TVLine reports that ABC has decided to pull the plug on Brothers And Sisters and sci-fi favourite "V".
Over the last few days, rumours started swirling around that ABC was planning to bring back Brothers & Sisters for a short farewell season which would include some budget cuts. However, this does not seem to be the plan anymore.
With "V", the story is somehow different. Even though the fan dedication has been outstanding, the ratings never really took off although this season saw the return of veteran actress Jane Badler and an vast improvement on its storylines.
Are you sad to see these shows go? Sound off in the comments!
Remember Fright Night? We really LOVED the original 80´s horror movie, which is why we were anticipating this remake so badly!
As most of you already know, we are not to keen on remakes but this one had us from the very moment we knew Martin Noxon ( Buffy The Vampire Slayer, I Am Number Four) was writing it and Colin Farrel & Toni Collette were attached to it.
Click below to watch the trailer for the new Fright Night! It actually looks really good!
The clock is ticking for our favourite vampires to return to our TV sets and there is a new promo for those who can´t resist the temptation for much longer.

After a few days of crazy rumors, Ashton Kutcher has been finally chosen to substitute Charlie Sheen as the main star of CBS’ Two and a Half Men.
Kutcher expressed on a statement his enthusiasm for the new role:
“I can’t wait to get to work with this ridiculously talented 2.5 team and I believe we can fill the stage with laughter that will echo in viewers’ homes. I can’t replace Charlie Sheen but I’m going to work my ass off to entertain the hell out of people!”
The actor has many reasons to feel happy. Kutcher will reportedly earn nearly $1 million per episode and will be joining returning stars Jon Cryer, Angus T. Jones, Holland Taylor, Marin Hinkle and Conchata Ferrell when the show returns next falll.
What do you guys think? Is Ashton the right casting choice or will you miss Charlie Sheen?
This is the kind of ensemble comedy we love to watch!
Horrible Bosses centers around three friends (Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, and Charlie Day) who, tired of dealing with their respective difficult bosses (Colin Farrell, Jennifer Aniston and Kevin Spacey), decide to put an end to the situation by hiring someone to kill them (Jamie Foxx).
The trailer looks very promising with an unrecognizible bald Colin Farrell and Jennifer Aniston tapping into a very different role she is used to playing.
Watch the highlarious trailer below!
Will you be checking it out when it gets released on July 8th?
Beyoncé has confirmed her new album will be titled "4"!
The singer exclusively revealed the news to Billboard Magazine and explained that her fans were the ones who inspired her to chose that name for her new album.
“I had a whole other name and concept, but I keep seeing that the fans love the name ‘4,’ and I think it would be a really nice thing to let them name the record.”
The artist explained why this number has such a special meaning in her life:
“We all have special numbers in our lives, and 4 is that for me. It’s the day I was born. My mother’s birthday, and a lot of my friends’ birthdays, are on the fourth; April 4 is my wedding date.”
Katie Holmes will star alongside Chace Crawford on a new romantic comedy titled Responsible Adults.
The script, written by Alex Schemmer, tells the story of a 30-year-old medical student who falls for a 22-year-old man. The twist comes when she finds out that she was the young´s man babysitter 15 years ago.
Filming is set to begin in Los Angeles during the fall with John Poll sitting in the director´s chair.
So glad to see Katie getting into the swing of things with her acting again!
Glee is coming to New York for the national championship and it promises to be one hell of a show. To celebrate that, the cast graces the cover of the new issue of The Hollywood Reporter.
The cast of the Fox hit series is about to visit the big apple in an anticipated season finale episode that has been its most expensive yet (an impressive $6 million budget!).
It was meant to happen eventually. According to TVLine, Gossip Girl won´t be renewing Taylor Momsen and Jessica Szorh contracts for the show´s fifth season.
However, there is still some hope for fans of both actresses as the show has invited both of them to guest star from time to time in the future.
Momsen´s departure has been expected for a while now as she has been focusing mainly on her work as a musician, appearing only on just a handful of episodes during the current season.
What do you say? Is the show better off without them, or will you miss Vanessa and Jenny? Sound off in the comments!
Here it is, a brand new track from Lady Gaga´s upcoming album, Born This Way.
The Edge Of Glory features E Street Band saxophonist Clarence Clemons and was inspired by the death of Gaga´s grandfather in late 2010.
The song has a rock vibe and sounds really good, we particularly love the production on this one. It is definitely our favourite so far from the Born This Way era!
