VH1 Divas 2012

  It´s been 14 years since VH1 premiered thefirst annual VH1 Diva’s concert in 1998. The purpose was to support the channel’s ‘Save the music foundation’ by bringing together on the same stage some of the world´s biggest female artists in history.

 The latest edition was aired live from Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on December 16, 2012, and it featured some of the biggest stars to celebrate two of the greatest Divas that the world lost this year: Whitney Houston and Donna Summer.

 The all-star lineup included Kelly Rowland, Demi Lovato, Miley Cirus, Jordin Sparks, Kelly Clarkson, Keri Hilson, Natasha Bedingfield, Pitbull and Adam Lambert among others.

 Along with the performances, the biggest moments of the night were those that featured the new generation of divas paying homage to those who inspired them such as Whitney Houston and Donna Summer as well as the still successfull Madonna and Debbie Harry.

First Watch: Put It Down - Brandy Feat. Chris Brown

 Brandy is back in action with a brand new single, Put It Down, taken from her upcoming sixth studio album, Two Eleven, and her first release under RCA/Chameleon Records. 

The music video complete with choreography was directed by Hype Williams and Brandy looks stunning.

  Brandy is back in the music scene with a brand new single, Put It Down, produced by Bangladesh and which features Chris Brown (who also co-wrote it).


 This is the first official song taken from her forthcoming studio album entitle Two Eleven, which is slated for a summer release.


 The track will be available for download on May 8.

 The girls are back! Brandy and Monica reunite over a decade after their hit The Boy is Mine for their brand new single, It All Belongs To Me.

 The video was directed by Chris Robinson and it emphasizes the power women can have over a relationship.

 A while back we told you about Monica and Brandy´s reunion 14 years later in the studio to record a brand new song, the first one after their 1998´s hit The Boy is Mine.

 It All Belongs To Me is the title of their new track, produced by Kadis & Sean, which will be included on Monica´s latest album, "New Life" due out on March 6.

Brandy & Monica Reunite

It´s like the 90´s all over again!

Remember when Brandy & Monica topped the charts for 13 weeks with The Boy is Mine back in 1998?

Seems like the duo is willing to bring back some of that magic and both RnB singers have reunited in the studio once again.

 Both ladies flew down to Miami to record with hitmaker Rico Love for an upcoming single that will probably feature on both their new albums.

 Monica tweeted: “We have Both Been Blessed Beyond... 14 years later."

Brandy on the other hand responded: “I really like you so much Mo ❤ thank u!”

Brandy Guests on 90210

  Singer-actress Brandy makes a return to TV this fall, when she joins 90210 for a major season 4 arc.

 According to TVLine, Brandy will play the role of Marissa Jackson-Lewis, a young politician running for congress in California against Teddy´s (Trevor Donovan) conservative uncle.

 She will mostly interact with the character of Silver (Jessica Troup) as her character hires her to create a video campaign in order to reach the youth vote.

 Brandy´s debut on the CW show is set for October.

 On other piece of news, the CW has recently announced that season 4 of 90210 will be extended to 24 episodes (instead of the usual 22).
