Courteney Cox: 'I was hurt by Emmy Snub'

  Courteney Cox has confessed to TV Line that she really wishes to be nominated for an Emmy.

  The Cougar Town actress reveals she had a hard time back in the day when Friends aired because she was the only star on the show who never got a nomination for her acting:

 "When the first person was nominated for an Emmy, I think it was Schwimmer, you're so excited. Then the second person, so excited. The only time I was like 'Whoa!' was [when Aniston and Kudrow were both nominated] and not me. I had a hard time not taking it personally when it was both Lisa and Jennifer at the same time. One guy, one girl, whatever. But both girls and not me? It hurt. I'm very sensitive, though."

 The Scream actress admits having a hard time when dealing with nominations and awards and caring too much about it:

 "God, it would be such an honour. I'd be so excited. I'd probably be one of those people who just cried. I wish I could say I didn't care about stuff like that. Maybe if I didn't, it would be some kind of karmic thing for me, but I actually do. I think it's nice to be recognised. [Not being nominated] makes me go, 'Oh s**t, maybe I don't know what the f**k I'm doing'."

 Cox still wishes to make amends with the Emmys by hoping to be nominated for her comedy show, Cougar Town and goes as far as saying it would mean even more to her now than when she was on the NBC sitcom:

 "Don't get me wrong, it would have been great back then," she explains. "But I think it would mean that I'm on another show that is regarded and is written and performed as well as [Friends] in some way."

Courteney Cox Says 'Friends' Movie Is Unlikely

 Ever since Friends ended in 2004 there have been rumours and speculations of the show coming back on the big screen.

 Courteney Cox recently spoke to The Mail On Sunday  about the possibility of reuniting with her Friends co-stars for a reunion movie:

 "No. I just can't see that happening. I mean, I'm not in control of it and if I was, we'd have already done it. But it involves so many different people's lives and schedules that I just don't know how you'd get it all together. So no, I don't see it happening."

 Cox has previously admitted to be willing to reprise her role as Monica Geller if things fall into place but some of her former co-stars such as Matt LeBlanc or David Schwimmer have proven to be more reluctant to do so.

  However, Cox has confirmed to have been approached by former co-star Lisa Kudrow to appear as a guest on the show Who Do You Think You Are, which she produces.

 "Lisa's asked me to be on it; apparently they've found something in my family history which they won't tell me because they like to surprise the person. It's an amazing show and I'll probably do it - it's just trying to find the time."

 Both Friends stars Lisa Kudrow and Jennifer Aniston made guest appearances on Cox´s show Cougar Town on the first and second season of the series respectively.

Matt LeBlanc is 'against Friends reunion'

 Former Friends star Matt LeBlanc, has recently admitted that he is not too keen on reprising his role of Joey Tribbiani for a reunion of the hit TV show. Even though he stated that he is still friends with all his former co-stars, LeBlanc who will next be seen on Showtime series Episodes, believes it is better to leave the memory of the show untouched.

 He told WENN: "Friends was this magical, cool thing, like lightning in a bottle, and I feel super fortunate to have been part of it."

 When asked about a possible reunion he said: "What would the story be? We all get together and what? Have coffee? It would be almost sad. It's better to just imagine what those characters are doing now."

 Personally, I have to say how much I don't agree with LeBlanc on this. A Friends reunion could be really cool if done properly, and a sure hit as far as ratings is concerned.
