MTV VMA 2013 Nominations

The nominations for the MTV Video Music Awards 2013 have been announced!

The top nominees for this year are Justin Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis with six nominations each.

Singer Bruno Mars comes as a close second with 4 nominations.

The MTV VMAs 2013 will take place in Brooklyn's Barclay's Center on Aug. 25.

First Listen: Take Back The Night - Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake has released "Take Back the Night", the leading new single in anticipation for "The 20/20 Experience Part 2" album due out on Sept. 30 on RCA Records.

Produced by Timberlake, Timbaland and Jerome "J-Roc" Harmon, the song echoes a lot of old school Michael Jackson beats and style.

First Watch: Tunnel Vision - Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake has released the music video for his next single, Tunnel Vision, taken from his album "The 20/20 Experience" and it is probably his most controversial yet.

The singer already warned his fans over Twitter when he posted: "Check out the new video for Tunnel Vision and be ready...it's explicit".

In the Jonathan Craven directed video the singer appears fully-clothed singing and dancing while three topless female dancers contort sensually to his music.

What Timberlake has done is nothing new or even risky, as Robin Thicke´s recent hit "Blurred Lines" was controversial for using the same basic theme. Even with the controversy, the song managed to become Robin Thicke´s first US number one hit song.

 Justin seems to be following the same pattern without caring about the feminist criticism and just enjoying all the attention he can get to his new single.

First Watch: Mirrors - Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake has released the music video for his second single, Mirrors, taken from his new studio album , The 20/20 Experience.

Directed by Floria Sigismondi, the eight-minute clip is dedicated to his grandparents, William (who died last year) and Sadie, showing us their love story throughout the years.

Justin Timberlake Premieres "Suit & Tie" Music Video

Justin Timberlake is set to make his comeback a big one, so he asked "The Social Network" director David Fincher (who has also directed many iconic music videos such as Madonna´s Vogue) to helm his new music video for his latest single "Suit & Tie".

The result is an elegant black & white video with some old school looks and style featuring guest rapper Jay Z and Justin´s signature dance moves.

Tune of the Week: Mirrors - Justin Timberlake

 Justin Timberlake´s comeback is on! 

After releasing "Suit & Tie" as his first song in over six years, the singer performed live at the Grammy Awards with Jay Z.

But the surprises did not stop there. Soon after his Grammy appearance, Justin released a new promotional song taken from his upcoming studio album, "The 20/20 Experience," due out March 19.

"Mirrors" is an eight minutes breath of fresh air and pop melodies, just what Justin´s fans were craving for. 

The infectious and soulfoul track is produced by Timbaland and it is some of the best music we´ve heard in the current year.

Justin Timberlake "Suit and Tie" Lyric Video

Not so long ago we told you about Justin Timberlake´s return to music after a long absence and now it seems like the wait is almost over.

Timberlake has released an official lyric video for a brand new song titled "Suit and Tie". 

However, this is not your average lyric video. Directed by Laban Pheidias, it features Timberlake himself on what it appears to be a photoshoot session.

Justin Timberlake Announces New Music

 It´s been six years since Justin Timberlake released his last album Future Sex Love Sounds. Since then, he has spent most of his time working as an actor in Hollywood and aside from several collaborations he has left the music business altogether.

His fans have been patiently waiting for his return to his music roots and it looks as if it may be finally happening.

Today Timberlake announced via a teaser video on his website that he is ready to release new music for his followers to listen to.

Rumour has it that Justin´s new studio album has been produced by Timbaland and is set to include a duet with Beyoncé.

  The first trailer for Andrew Niccol's sci-fi action-thriller, In Time, starring Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried has been unveiled.

 The film tells the story of a future where people stop aging at 25 and must work in order to buy themselves more time. When a young man (Timberlake) finds himself with more time than he could imagine, he must run from the corrupt police in order to save his life.
