Last night the Brit Awards ceremony took place in London at the O2 Arena.

First Watch: I Won´t Give Up - Jason Mraz



Jason Mraz is getting ready to release his upcoming fourth studio album, Love is a Four Letter Word, due out on April 17th. 

I Won´t Give Up directed by Mark Pellington  is the first music video the singer unveils for this new project.

 Fans of Jason Mraz will get the chance to listen to some brand new tracks before the proper studio album gets released as a new live acoustic EP entitled, Live Is A Four Letter Word, is scheduled for digital release on February 28.

Janet Jackson Comments on Whitney Houston


 Janet Jackson recenty taped a one-hour interview with Anderson Cooper and took the chance to speak on the tragic death of fellow artist Whitney Houston.

 Having gone through a similar situation with the passing of her brother Michael Jackson, Janet spoke about the fond memories she shared with Houston and what advice she would give to Whitney´s daughter, Bobbi Kristina.

First Listen: Climax - Usher


 Usher is preparing his return putting together what will be his seventh studio album which still remains untitled.

Whitney Houston Dies


 It´s a very sad day for music. Legendary singer Whitney Houston has died at age 48.


 According to Beverly Hills police Lt. Mark Rosen the singer´s body was found inside a bathtub and was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. in her room on the fourth floor of the Beverly Hilton.


 The police stated that there were "no obvious signs of foul play and no obvious signs of a cause of death".


Police said in a statement:


 "They initiated CPR, but were unable to revive her. At approximately 3:55 p.m. Whitney Houston, age 48 was pronounced dead at the scene.Whitney Houston was positively identified at the scene by members of her entourage which included friends, co-workers and family. Ms. Houston's daughter and mother were notified of her death."
 
 Two days before the singer was seen at a party for the Grammy Awards event at Tru Hollywood Nightclub in Hollywood, and appeared to be in bad shape (see picture below).


 Just one night before Whitney passed, she performed Jesus Loves Me for the last time at the Kelly Price & Friends concert gala. You can check out a clip below.


 Houston was expected to perform at a Gala for Clive Davis on Saturday, the same day she died. The Gala took place as scheduled and Davis dedicated the evening to her asking for a moment of silence as a photo of the singer appeared on the screen.


Whitney´s ex-husband Bobby Brown broke down during a performance where he remembered the woman he was married to for 14 years saying:  "I would like to say, 'I love you Whitney.' The hardest thing for me to do is come on this stage."


Celebrities all over the world are still reacting to the premature loss of Whitney Houston.


Aretha Franklin said in a statement: "I just can't talk about it now. It's so stunning and unbelievable. I couldn't believe what I was reading coming across the TV screen."


 Bette Midler: 'Little by little these deaths kill the best part of each of us, the awe and joy we feel when we hear a gift that can only come from God.'

Mariah Carey: 'Heartbroken and in tears over the shocking death of my friend,  the incomparable Ms. Whitney Houston. My heartfelt condolences to Whitney's family and to all her millions of fans throughout the world. She will never be forgotten as one of the greatest voices to ever grace the earth.'

Rest in peace Whitney Houston, there will never be another one like you.

 The tagline "A search for forgiveness. A plot for revenge" makes reference to the show´s latest storyline involving Siobhan´s return to NYC just in time to find her twin sister living her old life.

 Geri Halliwell has been busy lately with the launching of her Union Jack collection for Next.

 However the Spice Girl confirmed that she´s putting the final touches to a currently-untitled fourth studio LP that she plans to release in the near future:

 "I am very excited. I am in the studio and an announcement is imminent. I've been mastering my album and I'm really excited that my pop career is about to come back."

 Halliwell also took time to comment on the upcoming Spice Girls musical.

 Coldplay has premiered the music video for their brand new single, Charlie Brown, taken from their fifth studio album Mylo Xyloto

 Directed by Mat Whitecross, the video features the band performing while surrounded by fans wearing the flashing 'Xyloband' bracelets which are typically given out at their concerts.
