Ben Affleck Set to Direct the Next Batman Movie

It´s official comic-book fans everywhere: The first Batman movie since Chris Nolan´s trilogy will feature Ben Affleck as a co-writer and director.

Good news is, Affleck will be aided by co-writer Geoff Johns,  a DC's chief creative who has been involved in DC´s comic books before such as Justice League, The Flahs and Batman.

Rumour has it that the plot of the film will pick up after the events happening in Batman vs Superman and the upcoming Justice League movies. So expect it sometime after 2017.

In the meantime, do you guys think Affleck will be a good choice?

"Miss You Already" Trailer

Drew Barrymore has been keeping it in the down low since she has become a mum of two pretty little girls, involving herself into very few film projects over the recent years.

Her latest movie, "Miss You Already", is directed by Catherine Hardwicke and tells the story of two longtime friends and their journey through life together until one of them is diagnosed with cancer.

"Miss You Already" also stars Dominic Cooper and Jacqueline Bisset.

New "Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice" pictures

The latest issue of EW gives us a first look at the upcoming blockbuster movie "Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice".

The stills feature the two heroes played by Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill crossing paths for the very first time on the upcoming film directed by Zack Snyder.

Appearances by Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and Aquaman (Jason Momoa) will also be featured in the movie as a way of preparing the path for a proper Justice League story arc.

Seems like Warner Bros is working hard to compete against Marvel in their cinematic adventures with two of DC´s most recognisable heroes.

The hype is definitely on! Are you impatient for "Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice"?
