Take That Featured On "X-Men: First Class" Soundtrack

Take That will provide a song called Love Love as the main theme for the X-Men: First Class soundtrack. According to The Sun, the track was selected by director Matthew Vaughn who had previously used a song by the group for his film Stardust back in 2007.

"Matthew invited Gary [Barlow] over to his house and asked him to bring some tracks he thought were suitable for the film," an insider close to the movie explains.

"He instantly took a liking to 'Love Love' and felt it summed up the tone of the movie. Gary was chuffed as it means a global audience will hear the record."

Madonna Visits NBC Studios In NYC

Madonna made a rara appearance at the Rainbow Room NBC Studios in New York last monday, sporting a look that made her appearance as fresh and young as she was back in the day.

Who else but Madonna could wear those clothes at 52 and still look fabulous?

The reason behind this visit is still unknown although it might have something to do with her upcoming directorial effort, W.E., which is set to premiere at the Venice Film Festival.

We´re counting the days until the promotion of the film is over so she can get back to the studio and start making some new music!

What do you think of Madonna´s latest look?

Glee Recap: Born This Way

Glee aired its super-sized special episode about self acceptance this week... and it worked like a charm... well sorta.

If you haven´t had the chance to check it out (you know you were watching NBC´s The Voice... but we forgive you), then please do not read this until you do. For all you gleekers who did, lets cut to the chase...

This week´s assignment found the kids of New Directions coping with their own insecurities and personal issues with their appearance. It really was the perfect excuse to dig deeper into the lifes of the students of Mckinley High and some much needed character development.

Probably the best consequence of having a longer episode was to see other under-used characters like Santana shine. Thank you Ryan Murphy for letting us peep inside her mind for once! Her lines in this episode were both funny ("I have awesome gaydar") and useful plot-wise, and having her interact with Karofsky was simply perfect.

Kurt finally found a way back to New Directions where he belongs and celebrated with a perfect rendition of Sunset Boulevard´s "As If We Never Said Goodbye". Once again, those scenes with his father Burt, and him alone confronting Karofsky were priceless and featured some of the best acting and writing of the episode.

It seems as if the writers have managed to give Quinn a real reason behind all her backstabbing ways... the girl used to be ugly! We must admit we did not see that coming. Lets hope that she learns her lesson once and for all! Its a real shame they don´t explore her character and (potential) friendship with Rachel more... those two have some crazy chemistry together both on and off stage, as their rendition of Unpretty was flawless!

Oh, and what do you do to make any Glee episode work? Of course, throwing in Darren Criss singing a cover of Keane´s "Somewhere Only We Know" always helps! Now lets get him transfered to Mckinley as soon as possible, shall we?

To sum things up:

The Best: Any scene Santana is in (specially with Brittany), Karofsky and Kurt confronting each other, Blaine and The Warblers farewell to Kurt.

The Worst: The absence of Rachel´s gay parents during her nose job dilemma, and Finn´s unnecessary jazz number.

Quote To Remember: "The only straight I am is straight-up bitch."—Santana
Best Musical Number: "Unpretty / I Feel Pretty" by Rachel & Quinn
The Moment: Finn telling Rachel she´s beautiful after she announces she´s getting a nose job.

What did you guys think of the episode? Sound off below!

First Look: Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin

Now this is what we call looking the part! Can you spot Julianne Moore behind that transformation? We sure find it difficult!

This is the first picture of  Game Change, an upcoming HBO movie chronicles the historic 2008 presidential campaign which stars Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin and Ed Harris as John Mccain.

We are already used to Julianne´s magnificent performances so we can´t wait to see how she delivers on this one!

According to TVLine, the CW has confirmed early pickups to The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, 90210, Supernatural and America’s Next Top Model.

Shows like Nikita, Hellcats or fan favourite One Tree Hill are still up in the air.

In the case of One Tree Hill, stars such as Sophia Bush and Bethany Joy Galleotti have already confirmed they are in for a possible ninth season.

However, it is James Lafferty who is resisting the idea of signing up for another year with the show.

Also former One Tree Hill star, Chad Michael Murray, has expressed via Twitter an interest in returning for an appearance next year if the show gets picked up.

Is Ryan Phillippe Quitting Acting?

According to the New York Post, actor Ryan Phillippe is really close to give up acting altogether. The publication shares a quote from the actor which reads:

"I think I'm going to end my acting career. I'm so introverted. I'm ready to be behind the scenes. I'm 36, but I've been doing this for 20 years."

However, a rep for the actor told E!News that there is no truth whatsoever to that statement:

"He is not going to stop acting nor did he ever say that he would. The Page Six story is completely incorrect."

Phillippe´s rep also denied rumours that the actor was planning on leaving L.A. to live in New York.

"No, he's not moving to New York," his rep explains. "But he has a film that will be in production in the city soon."

Drew Barrymore Looks Back On 'Scream'

Scream 4 opens today in the U.S. and in order to celebrate that, EW has talked to original Scream star Drew Barrymore who has shared her thoughts and experiences while filming the first film:

On wanting to play Casey in the opening scene:

"I just read the script one night at my house and I just said, “Oh my God, there hasn’t been anything like this for so long.” I loved that it actually got tongue and cheeky but it was still scary and it was this great game that sort of described genres and revived them at the same time and redefined them all in one script. I went bananas."

On working with director Wes Craven:

"He’s such a sweetheart. He’s just the coolest. He really did make me feel incredibly safe and I really gravitated toward him — I tend to do that with directors. I’m not really good at yucking it up with everyone and I kinda wanna stay in that concentrated, focused zone. So I love being able to go to a great, male director and sort of stay there in the shade of their tree and their safety. And Wes is completely that guy."

On her favourite scary movies:

"I love Halloween and love Freddy [Krueger]. The ones now I can’t handle. But I love the old slasher films, and I just thought this one headed off into a new direction. I did love horror films from the ’70s and ’80s. That was my sweet spot."

Hilarie Burton & Chad Michael Murray Not Returning To 'One Tree Hill'

Its official, One Tree Hill former stars, Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton won´t be making an appearance on the show this season.

Series creator Mark Schwann has confirmed the news to TV Line:

“It’s not going to happen. We won’t be seeing them this year. Quite frankly, we just couldn’t make a deal. Hilarie now has a child and a family, and she’s doing some nice work. Chad was working on a movie (The Haunting In Georgia) down in Louisiana, and there were dates we were trying to work around, but it’s tricky when you try to line up all those stars sometimes.”

Schwann admitted his dissapointment over the news but assured that both stars were willing to make an appearance on the show if their busy schedules made it possible.

“Everybody had the best intentions. But at the end of the day, it just didn’t work out."

News that the show was negotiating a return with Burton and Murray ,who both left at the end of season six, first appeared towards the time the character of Brooke (Sophia Bush) was getting married on the show.

Schwann states that it was his wish to have reached an agreement for it to happen back then:

"Creatively, I would have loved to have them,or even at the end of the season. But unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be.”

It is yet unclear whether this will be One Tree Hill´s farewell season but actor Austin Nichols has confirmed to TV Guide that if that´s the case then fans will be satisfied with how the stories are wrapped.

"If it [is] in fact a series finale, it will be very satisfying," he explains. "[But] I know that there are seeds planted if there's going to be another season. Everybody feels lucky to be a part of something that's been on so long, so we'll see."

Are you sad to learn that Peyton and Lucas won´t be returning to Tree Hill?

Drew Barrymore Is Set To Direct 'How to Be Single'

Actress Drew Barrymore is already an expert with the genre of romantic comedies, but is now determined to prove herself as a director as well.

After her directorial debut with 2009´s Whip It, Barrymore plans to put herself behind the camera on the project, How To Be Single.

The actress has confirmed the news to EW:

“Being single, this one definitely speaks to me and I’ve explored it a lot in the last year and a half. I’m at that age where I’m sort of straddling a great line right now and I can see both sides very well.”

The film is based on the 2008 novel by Liz Tucillo and has been adapted by screenwriters Marc Silverstein and Abby Kohn who have already worked previously on a film Barrymore starred and produced, He´s Just Not That Into You.

The actress is still uncertain whether she will appear onscreen on her new project but she is quick to clarify how this is not a follow-up film to He’s Just Not That Into You:

"It’s hopefully, in a lot of ways, not a romantic comedy. People have this weird stigma [with] that word — it’s a turnoff to guys or whatever. But I think we’ve honed in on a style that will be more universal, a little bit ageless and not gender specific.”

How To Be Single is currently being considered for Valentine´s Day 2012 release.

Courteney Cox Says 'Friends' Movie Is Unlikely

Ever since Friends ended in 2004 there have been rumours and speculations of the show coming back on the big screen.

Courteney Cox recently spoke to The Mail On Sunday  about the possibility of reuniting with her Friends co-stars for a reunion movie:

"No. I just can't see that happening. I mean, I'm not in control of it and if I was, we'd have already done it. But it involves so many different people's lives and schedules that I just don't know how you'd get it all together. So no, I don't see it happening."

Cox has previously admitted to be willing to reprise her role as Monica Geller if things fall into place but some of her former co-stars such as Matt LeBlanc or David Schwimmer have proven to be more reluctant to do so.

However, Cox has confirmed to have been approached by former co-star Lisa Kudrow to appear as a guest on the show Who Do You Think You Are, which she produces.

"Lisa's asked me to be on it; apparently they've found something in my family history which they won't tell me because they like to surprise the person. It's an amazing show and I'll probably do it - it's just trying to find the time."

Both Friends stars Lisa Kudrow and Jennifer Aniston made guest appearances on Cox´s show Cougar Town on the first and second season of the series respectively.
