"Star Wars" star Jake Lloyd arrested

We all remember young Jake Lloyd thanks to his performance in "Star Wars Episode One: The Phantom Menace" back in 1999.

The child actor became popular at age 8 after playing Anakin Skywalker in the George Lucas directed movie.

However his acting career went downhill after that and after several problems with the industry Lloyd left acting altogether several years after.

The former actor was arrested last week in South Carolina for reckless driving, resisting to stop after a high speed chase by the police, and driving without a license.

According to a representative for the Colleton County Sheriff’s Department, he was still in jail as of sunday.

What´s wrong with all these child actors in Hollywood?

Even though the song is quite good, we´re personally still waiting for the hot uptempo smash track that Janet does so well. However, this is a nice gift to listen to in the meantime.

First Look at "Scream" MTV Series new mask

When MTV announced a new "Scream" TV Series, most fans were dissapointed fot two reasons. The first one is that it was set to be a departure from the movies with none of the original characters returning. But most of all what had fans really irritated was the fact that the iconic Ghostface mask wasn´t going to be featured in the new series.

After months of speculation, EW uncovered what has been a secret for the audience, the new killer´s mask which you can see above!

Executive producer Jill Blotevogel (Harper’s Island) said about it: “It evokes some of the Jason hockey mask and the white Michael Myers mask, but it’s still first and foremost evocative of the "Scream" mask. It’s sort of a reinvention while also paying homage.”

Most importantly, original director Wes Craven, who is also a producer on the series seems to like the result as well: “The new mask is cool and scary and takes the series into a new direction.  It also ties into the story, which I won’t give away.”

What do you guys think?

The 44-year-old actor who rose to popularity with his role as Xander Harris in the popular WB/UPN show, has been battling with depression, alcoholism and substance abuse issues. This isn´t the first time for the actor who previously entered rehab in 2004 and 2010.

Brendon´s rep confirmed the news in his official facebook page with the following post:

Earlier today, with the support of his professional team, his friends, and his family, Nicky entered a rehabilitation facility in California to treat his depression, alcoholism, and substance abuse problems. He’s taking the steps necessary to better his health and give himself, and his fans, the gift of a healthy lifestyle.

He has been aware of his problems for some time- and with each new challenge, he gained a greater understanding of what needed to be done to overcome these obstacles and move forward with his life. Since his arrest last October, Nicky had tried several treatment methods- from therapy, to outpatient services- only to realize recently that he needed to take an extended break and treat the underlying issues of his illnesses.

Nicky will not be attending any events during the months of June and July- but has plans to return to the circuit in late summer after he has successfully completed his treatment program. We ask that this page be filled with positive messages as we support Nicky on his road to recovery. Words of encouragement can be emailed to us at publicity@bloodybombshell.com so that we may forward them to him during his time away.

Thank you for all of your love and support of all things Nicky.

"Cruel Intentions" stars reunite

Back in 1999 a movie called "Cruel Intentions" starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillipe, Reese Witherspoon and Selma Blair was released and it became a hit among young adults and teenagers.

Now 16 years later, the female stars of the film have reunited to celebrate it and attended Cruel Intentions the Musical, a stage show in Los Angeles.

We must say the girls looks fantastic and it is hard to believe that 16 years have gone by as they haven´t aged one single bit! All of them were happy to pose for pictures with the cast and shared them on their instagrams.

‘Best girls night of the year!!!” Witherspoon wrote on her own Instagram post.

Selma Blair and Sarah Michelle Gellar even reenacted their famous kiss backstage after the show, a kiss that earned them an MTV movie award for best kiss back in the day.

Wouldn´t it be nice if they decided to make a sequel of that movie? Here´s hoping!

It took a bit of negotiating but CBS has officially picked up a series order for "Supergirl". The show produced by Greg Berlanti stars Melissa Benoist as the title character and co-stars a number of familiar faces such as Calista Flockhart or Chyler Leigh.

Apparently CBS Entertainment was hesitant at first because of financial issues but Nina Tassler, the chairman´s network, saw a final cut of the pilot and fell in love with it. The rest as they say is history.
