No Unreleased Footage on Michael Jackson´s Trial

Attorneys for Dr Conrad Murray, who is being accused of involuntary manslaughter for the death of Michael Jackson, have been denied the use of unreleased footage from the This is it rehearsals during the upcoming trial.

According to the Associated Press, Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor ruled Monday that the more than 100 hours of unreleased footage from the concert film does not show Jackson in poor health and would be of no use for the defense or the prosecution.

After viewing many hours of film, Pastor canceled his planned visit to Sony Pictures for the rest. The judge agreed with Sony´s attorneys that the footage should not be shown publicly without good reason, as it has a high value and could be used for future releases of extended versions of This is it.

The trial is set to begin next September.
