First Look at 'American Horror Story'

The first pictures for the new FX show, American Horror Story, have surfaced.

For those of you late bloomers who don´t know what this upcoming show is about, let´s do some explaining.

Way before Glee became a worldwide hit, creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk were already popular for producing a certain show called Nip/Tuck, which was pretty much the opposite of the singing and dancing extravanga that Glee is.

This new show, American Horror Story, marks a return to form for Murphy and Falchuk who are now introducing themselves in the horror genre for television.

This new TV series tells the story of the Harmons, a family with a dark past that buys a big, old (and yes, haunted) house in Los Angeles where a series of murders have occured in the past.

The horror thriller stars Friday Night Lights‘ Connie Britton, The Practice‘s Dylan McDermott, Six Feet Under´s Frances Comroy and Oscar-winner Jessica Lange to name a few.

Critics who have watched the show have had very positive reactions so far.

American Horror Story premieres on October 5 on FX.

Are you curious to give it a try?
