According to the Hollywood Reporter, both Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep are in talks to star in the in the film adaptation of Tracy Letts' Pulitzer and Tony-winning play "August: Osage County". The play centers around the story of family conflicts after the death of their patriarch. Streep would play the drug-addicted matriarch, while Roberts would play the eldest daughter who happens to have an adulterous husband. If everything goes smoothly, filming will begin in the summer.
